There is no single dress code for Prague clubs. Two central venues publish useful rules: EPIC allows casual clothing with specific exclusions, while M1 asks for smart casual. Choose the event first, then use its current policy rather than an old travel forum or a VIP photograph.
| Venue | What to check | Official source |
|---|---|---|
| Epic Prague | Casual. No sandals, flip-flops, sweatpants, sports jerseys, swimsuits or dirty clothing. The club retains admission discretion. | EPIC |
| M1 Lounge | Smart casual; no sportswear or hats. | M1 |
A practical outfit checklist
Wear clean clothing and shoes you can walk and dance in. Comfortable closed shoes avoid EPIC's sandal exclusions and help on Prague's cobblestones; this is practical advice, not a universal shoe rule. Bring a layer for queues and the journey home. EPIC requires coats and larger bags to be checked, so keep your original ID, phone and payment method with you, and do not leave valuables in the cloakroom.
A costume, birthday booking or VIP ticket does not automatically override entry rules. For other venues, ask the operator about your exact event, footwear and group before paying. Recheck special-event requirements close to the date.
