Use an event calendar to answer what is on your actual date. A venue profile explains the place; it does not guarantee tonight's music. Start from the official venue programme, open the individual event and follow its ticket link. Search snippets and old social images can preserve a cancelled event or the previous year, so match the day, month and year in the source page.
Read the lineup before choosing
Check the billed artists, music-style labels, whether it is a live show or DJ night, rooms and start time. Listen to recent artist sets to judge fit; names alone do not establish a genre. Compare the event's last entry with your dinner or cruise finish. Check ticket status, changed dates and operator announcements again on the day. Keep a nearby alternative whose current programme you have also checked.
Worked example: two different Halloween nights
EPIC's 30 October 2026 listing names techno/hardtechno; 31 October names EDM. Both start at 22:00, yet the music, artists and price tiers differ. Open 30 October and 31 October separately. This is an example of reading a programme, not a live list maintained every day. For broad music choices, use the genre guide; for purchase conditions, use the ticket guide.
